The Spanglish Lex List
Hi…!
You’ve probably arrived at this page by following a link a kind blogger had posted to tell you about a project I was working on until February of this year (2011) called “The Spanglish Lex List”.
It was a great little language learning newsletter for people learning English or Spanish, with daily words and phrases via e-mail, a forum where we could all talk about the answers and corrections and where at the same time my students could learn something else about their world via the news topics I chose.
I enjoyed producing it and many of the 800 or so people we had on the e-mail list and in the forums were kind enough to tell me they enjoyed learning that way too.
But there are only 24 hours in a day, so a man must decide what he wants to concentrate his efforts on.
So unfortunately you won’t find the Spanglish Lex List here any more; I had to change the direction of my blogging. Much more world news and no language teaching, although I still do everything in English and Spanish, so you are very welcome to learn by comparing the texts if you wish to.
There’s also a (slim) possibility that I might be able to fit the two plans together in the future and blog about world news AND teach languages at the same time, but that would probably be dependent on me setting up another company and hiring a couple of people to help out.
You can read about why and how I changed direction here:

And you can read about the new direction 8 months on here:
If you are interested in the new project—and I think you almost certainly will be, but for different reasons—then please sign up for the e-mail updates to stay in touch. You can contact me here if you have any questions:
Thank you for your support.
